    Rules and Regulations for the Book-Bank:

    1. The Book-Bank Scheme is only for the students of Prakshastri, Shastri and Acharya courses.

    2. Students of every regular course can take advantage of this scheme.

    3. Under the book-bank scheme, the students of the deprived class (SC/ST/EWS/Economically disadvantage group) will register free of cost and take membership of the book bank. Other students can also subscribe this facility after submission of a non-refundable fee of Rs.100 in the office.

    4. Under the Book-Bank Scheme, students of Prakshastri, Shastri and Acharya courses will be given books per semester on the subjects of the course as per the following details: Prak-shastri, Shastri and Acharya students - Payable per paper 01 textbook (i.e. Maximum number of books to be issued)

    5. Only available books from the prescribed authors will be provided on the subjects prescribed by the university. Reference books will not be issued.

    6.A book once issued/provided to a student under the Book-Bank Scheme shall not be changed before the end of the semester. Students can keep these books even during the examination period.

    7. It will be mandatory for the students of Book-Bank Scheme to submit the book within 05 days after the end of the semester examination. If the book is not submitted within the stipulated time, A fine of Rs. 1/- (one rupee) per day, per book will have to be deposited. It is mandatory to collect No-Dues from/Clearance Certificate from the library before the end of the last semester of the course.

    8. If a student's semester is back or he/she has to get the book of the current semester before the declaration of result, he/she can be issued an additional book in one semester back subject. The benefit of book bank book will not be available if the result of the last semester comes back.

    9. If a book is lost by a student in the book-bank, the new book should be of the same author and publisher or twice the value of the book will have to be deposited as a fine.

    10. In case of torn page of the book, missing pages, making marks of pen, lead, ink, the student will have to deposit a new book in the library or will have to deposit twice the cost of the book as a fine.

    CSU-Bhopal Campus Status

    Bhopal Campus of Central Sanskrit University, New Delhi is situated in Bhopal, Capital of Madhya Pradesh. Bhopal is a city of pristine natural beauty of lakes, that's why it is called talo me taal bhopal and also called the Bhojraj Nagar from the ancient era on the name of King Bhojraj and also call the bhoomi of tap because it situated on the bank of river Narmada and famous for the origin of Narmdeshwar shivlinga in India and word. Overall, Bhopal is a city which is well flourished in the aspects of natural, intellectual, literary, historical and political wealth from the ancient times. So the MHRD Govt. of India issued the establishment order no. Sasnkrit-1-section dated 31st March 2002 to establish the Bhopal campus in the city. For the implementation of this government order the RSKS New Delhi started the Bhopal Campus from 1st July 2002, as per the letter no. 37021/2002-admin/1108 office order no. 107/dated 5.6.2002, by providing the principal and other departments etc. Though 10 years before this date, in 1991-92, by the declaration of the then minister of Human Resource and Development Ministry Govt. of India, Honorable Shri Arjun Singh, the planning of this Bhopal campus had been decided and at that very time the Govt. of M.P. had given 10 acres land at free of cost, for the development of this campus through the Govt. order letter no- F 6730/ Govt./Sa-2B/93 dated 27.05.1993/20.7.1993. Thus, from 6th July 2002 in the room provided in the Barkatullah University Guest House the Bhopal Campus activities were started and from 2nd August 2002 the admission of the students and the teaching activities were started in a rented building in Area Colony. Arera Colony. The formal inauguration of the Bhopal Campus was declared on the date 16th September 2002 by the then Governor of M.P. Honorable Bhai Mahaveer ji in the presence of the then V.C. RSKS New Delhi Prof. Vempati Kutumb Shastri ji , the founder Principal of the Campus Prof. Azad Mishra ji and the other reputed scholars of the Sanskrit world. After that the then chief minister of M.P. Honorable Shri Digvijay Singh ji laid the foundation stone of this campus building on the allotted land plot on 27.02.2003. The foundation stone of the main administrative building was laid by the then minister of MHRD Honorable Shri Arjun Singh Ji on the date 19th September 2005 for the further development of the Campus. This University converted into Central Sanskrit University on April 30, 2020 as per the gazette of Govt. of India.
